The 2016-2017 Loose Screws are a team of 6th, 7th and 8th graders from Bedford Junior High School. This years’ team includes nine returning members and six rookies to FTC. All combined we have 60+ years of experience in FIRST Robotics.
Over the last weeks we have had a great time getting to know each other and learning how to work together as a team. We’ve practiced gracious professionalism in all of our meetings as we listened to and collaborated on build ideas, prototypes, social media posts and planning for competition.
During our work sessions we break into teams representing programming, build team, social media, engineering notebook, game specs, strategy and business planning.
When we aren’t programming and building for the Loose Screws, we are involved in extracurricular activities like tennis, boy scouts, quiz bowl, martial arts, basketball, band, mentoring other teams, track, there are too many things to list! We are all actively involved in our school and community.
